A full day hands-on class at a workshop where traditional glass beads are made. Learn the tradition of Ghanaian bead crafting where broken glass is pounded into powder and baked into a final product.

Your day will begin at 7:00 am in Accra with a pick-up in an air-conditioned vehicle at a location of your choice. Depart the busy city of Accra and enjoy the scenery of the forested highlands of the Akwapim range. Arrive at the workshop to attend your private session, where you learn the craft of bead making process from start to finish. Receive one-on-one instruction from an artisan on how powdered glass is baked into colourful beads using traditional Ghanaian methods. Create your very own beads and a bracelet with your chosen colours and patterns.
We will depart at 3:00 pm for the return drive to Accra, and your experience concludes with a drop-off at a location of your choice.
The total driving time is approximately 4 hours.
