As the world’s second-largest producer of cocoa, Ghana exports the majority of its dried cocoa beans for processing abroad, but a growing movement of bean-to-chocolate artisanal producers are changing this model. Your support for made-in-Ghana premium artisanal chocolates help local artisans and cocoa farmers.

9:30 AM pick-up in an air-conditioned vehicle at an Accra location of your choice.
Learn how cocoa is cultivated and how the cocoa beans are extracted, and dried.
Watch the process of tempering melted chocolate, preparing moulds, pouring and finalizing the completed gourmet product. Each person receives a box containing a set of confections.
After learning of local production, sit for a tasting of 4 or 5 gourmet chocolates.
Receive a box of chocolates as a gift box. Retail sales of products is available.
Drop-off at 3:00 PM after the tour completes.
