Day 1 : Tangier - Chefchaouen

Your local Experience Curator will pick you up from the port, airport, or hotel in Tangier in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. Enjoy the beautiful views of Rif mountains and the city of Tetoun as we drive to Chefchaouen. This charming Blue City has a Spanish-style square surrounded by funky, artisanal shops. Stop for lunch at one of the many bustling cafés and restaurants, and meander the narrow alleys to discover hidden gems.

Overnight in a local riad.

Day 2 : Chefchaouen - Fez

After breakfast, there is time to stroll Chefchaouen before hitting the road for Fez. This beautiful city, founded in the 8th century, is well known for its walled medina, elaborate medieval architecture, and vibrant souks. Don’t forget to take in the breathtaking views of Rif Mountains.

Day 3 : Fez

After breakfast in your riad, a local medina guide will accompany you to explore the streets and alleys of Fez. Discover all the cultural and historical sites of interest, starting with the Royal Palace, Bab Bou Jeloud Gate, the Jewish Quarter, and the first Mellah ever built in Morocco during the 16th century. Walk the winding streets of car-free El Bali medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit pungent tanneries and souks piled high with spices and handicrafts. After lunch, we will visit the tile cooperative and then enjoy a wonderful panoramic view over the entire Medina of Fez.

Day 4 : Fez - Meknes

We depart in the morning for the former imperial city of Meknes, founded in 11th century. Surrounded by high walls, its architecture seamlessly blends the influences of Islamic and European, and the entrance is adorned with Bab Mansour, an arched gate decorated with mosaics.

We also explore the archeological ruins of Volubilis. These ruins are an outstanding example of the different kinds of civilizations that made Morocco their home and are still present in the cultural traditions of this country. It is an ideal place to take in its beauty and history.

Day 5 : Mekness - Rabat

Heading today to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, we start our city exploration with the Hassan Tower, one of the oldest mosques in the country. Nearby is the Mohamed V mausoleum, the tombs of the Alaouite sultans Mohamed V and his two sons. From there we drive to Chellah, a medieval fortified Muslim necropolis and part of a World Heritage Site.

We continue towards the coast for a visit to the Kasbah of Oudayas, located on a hill at the mouth of a river. Don’t miss their art gallery! You will have free time to enjoy a glass of mint tea on one of the terraces near the Kasbah, or visit the king’s palace to stroll its gardens.

Day 6 : Rabat - Chefchaouen

Heading back to beautiful Chefchaouen, we cross and drive along the villages and green fields of Souk Laarbaa Lagharb. We stop for lunch in Ouazzane, known as the spiritual capital, then continue through the Rif Mountain pass to Chefchaouen.

Day 7 : Chefchaouen - Tangier

Take advantage of some free time this morning to rediscover Chefchaouen and pick up some keepsakes. Our drive back to Tangier takes us through the Tragedy Mountains of Rif. Enjoy the spectacular landscape, dotted with small Berber villages on top of the mountains. After a stop for lunch at Tetouan, there will be free time to explore this Spanish-influenced city nicknamed “White Dove.”

Your experience ends in Tangier, where we will drop you off at your hotel.
